License

Autonomy, LLC grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use this software for reviewing media you have been invited to review, or media you have the right to view. The software is licensed, not sold.

You may not, and may not permit anyone else to: copy or redistribute the software; sublicense, rent, lease or lend it; reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive its source code; modify it or create derivative works; remove or alter any proprietary notice; or use it to develop a competing product.

Review materials are confidential

Media, notes, annotations and transcripts you access through a review session are the confidential property of their owners. Watermarks, where applied, identify the recipient of a copy. Your access to review materials may be revoked at any time by the person who shared them.

Privacy

Voice recordings made for notes and session minutes are transcribed on the recording machine. Session audio and review media travel end-to-end encrypted; the relay carries ciphertext it cannot read. Session minutes capture what was said in a recorded session, attributed by name, with the consent of each participant.

No warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. COLOR ACCURACY DEPENDS ON YOUR DISPLAY AND ENVIRONMENT; REVIEW DECISIONS ARE YOURS.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AUTONOMY, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR BUSINESS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

License expiry

Asobi Review stays licensed while it is being used for reviews: each valid review invitation, session join, or license file renews it. After a sustained period with none, the app pauses and asks for a current key — nothing is deleted, and any valid key restores it. Long-term licenses are available from Autonomy.

Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach it. On termination, your right to use the software stops; the confidentiality of review materials survives.
